I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, within a few beats of a song you can quickly identify from the other room what show is getting ready to come on.  It’s crazy to think that a few music notes can indicate to someone what show is about to come on.  What theme song are Christ followers indicating to the rest of the world.  Even the earliest disciples were waiting for the return of the Lord so what has changed? The church , Christians, should still be looking forward to and waiting for the return of Jesus Christ. In 1 Thessalonians 1: 9-10 it says, “For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;  And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”  If we truly have been saved from serving idols and serve the living God we should be waiting for Jesus to come back from Heaven.  What do the notes of your life indicate that your theme song is? May we evaluate the way we live so that others will know that we are waiting for Jesus to return to earth so we are living to see many people give their hearts to Jesus.
